Writing about your own work

Three hundred words, plain sentences, and no words you would not say out loud.

Every piece in the portfolio gets a short text. Most people find it the hardest part of the term.

We start with one rule: write the way you would explain the work to a friend across a table. If you would not say a word out loud, leave it out.

The 300-word text you write in week five is the one you read from in week twelve, so it is worth getting right.
