How to get a place.
Four steps, and none of them needs a portfolio. Applications for the January term close on 11 January 2027.
Four steps.
1
Look around.
Come to an open day or read the course. You can ask anything before you apply.
2
Apply.
One page about you and up to ten pieces of work, in any medium. Sketches and phone photos are fine.
3
Hold your place.
A short talk with the course lead, then a €300 deposit holds your place.
4
You’re in.
We confirm your place by email, with the first week’s brief.

What to send.
Your page
One page in your own words: who you are, what you have made, and what you want from the twelve weeks.
Your work
Up to ten pieces of work as images or a link. There is no wrong medium.
Once you are in
The course lead follows your work through all twelve weeks. Tuition is €2,400 for the term, paid once or in three parts.
Questions.
What if I am not offered a place?
We tell you why and what to work on. You can apply again for the next term.
Do I need experience?
No. The course starts from looking and drawing.
Can I work full time?
Yes. Classes are two evenings a week, and the work at home is about three hours.
What if I miss a class?
Tell your tutor. Each class has a written brief, so you can catch up the same week.
Can I pay in parts?
Yes, in three parts across the term. The deposit counts towards the first.
What do I get at the end?
Your portfolio and a Nixole certificate of completion. It is not a university qualification.
