Hanging a small show
Where a piece hangs changes how it is read. The group learns that by moving things.
A piece on a table and the same piece on a wall are read differently. In weeks seven to nine you find out how.
You start with a scale model: a shoebox room, paper walls, small prints. Moving them takes seconds, so you try more than you would in a real room.
Then the group hangs the real room every week. The last arrangement is the end-of-term show, and visitors at the open days see it.
